The Durham Bank Holiday Car Show

The 2nd Durham Bank Holiday Car Show took place on a hot August bank holiday.

The Durham MG Club had been allocated the picturesque Elvet Bridge and we had a good selection of MGs on show. The day was organised efficiently by Bob Luke and many thanks to him!

The passing public came in droves and chatted to our club members who had lots of questions to ask about the cars. Mike Forbes even allowed some lucky visitors to sit in his car to have their picture taken.

An independent judge was tasked to pick out a car in each of the five locations that he thought was worthy of a trophy and to her delight, Jeannie Crann won the MG club prize with her immaculate MG1300.
