The Autumn Foliage Run

It was a cool Sunday on the 7th of October and we had eighteen cars met up at Bowburn services for Bob and Denise’s last run of the year, the Autumn Foliage Run. The run left Bowburn and headed West to Spennymoor and then through many small and interesting villages to Hamsterley and then South via Wham, Highlands and Lowlands and a ford before ending up at Caldwell and the Brownlow Arms for lunch.

The afternoon run was again along very picturesque roads and passing the Grassholme reservoir ending at Barnard Castle for afternoon tea.
