The Autumn Foliage Run
Around twenty cars started out from Bowburn Services and headed down to Barnard Castle We followed some very interesting roads that I hadn’t seen before to a photo stop at Baldersdale Reservoir. The weather was a little overcast but that didn’t deter the more hardy of us from having our tops down. (or is it the ones with good heaters?)
We then moved on to The Teesdale Hotel at Middleton in Teesdale for an excellent very relaxed Sunday lunch before heading off for the afternoon route up through The Stang Forest to The Dales Centre at Stanhope for afternoon tea and the return journey home.
